Water Usage Calculator

Fill out the following form to calculate your estimated water usage. For an accurate measure of your usage please monitor your water meter. Weekly Water Usage (Litres)
Household Size Enter the number of persons in the household  
Toilets Do you have a dual flush toilet or a cistern weight fitted to your single flush toilet?
Leaking Taps / Toilet Do you have a leaking toilet or any known leaking taps.
Taps Do you apply water conservation measures to minimise water used from taps in the kitchen, bathroom and laundry?
Bath How many minutes in total do household members spend in the shower on an average day?
(Example if two people in the home each have a 5 minute shower each day then you enter 10 for 10 minutes.)
  How many baths does your household have each week? (Each bath will use approximately 85 litres)
Washing Machine Do you have a top front loading or water efficient top loading washing machine that is rated 3STAR or better
(A 3 water-efficiency star or better rated washing machine uses as little as 80 litres of water per wash compared to 130 litres for a normal top loading washing machine.)
 
  How many loads of washing does your household do in an average week?
Dishwasher How many times per week do you wash the dishes or run the dishwasher?
In the Garden How many hours per week do you spend watering the garden.
Washing the Car How many times do you wash your car and/or boat per year.
Swimming Pool and Spa Do you have a swimming pool.  
  Does the pool have a pool cover.
  Do you have a spa.
Savings from a Rainwater Tank Do you have a Rainwater Tank.  
  If so, what size is the rainwater tank in litres (Example enter 5000 if the tank is 5000 litres)  
  Is the tank connected to the toilet or washing machine? (enter y if yes)
