The Gosford/Wyong Councilsi Water Authority has recently made changes to its water efficient washing machine rebate program.

Current Washing Machine Rebate
Central Coast residents who buy a washing machine rated 4.5 stars and above on or after 1 October 2008 can apply for a NSW Government washing machine rebate.
Applications forms for these rebates are available at all Council Customer Service Centres and Libraries or from www.environment.nsw.gov.au/rebates.
To qualify for the new washing machine rebate residents must buy the machine for use in a residential property. Other conditions also apply.

Prior to 1 October 2008
Eligible Central Coast residents who purchased a washing machine rated four water-efficiency stars and above before 1 October 2008 can apply for the previous Council rebate until 31 December 2008.
The $200 rebate is available to residents, connected to the town water supply, who purchased a four star or above rated washing machine for personal use between 24 May 2006 and 30 September 2008 inclusive.
The washing machine must meet the Terms and Conditions of the previous Washing Machine Rebate Program.
